Qarshi Airport has restricted flight reception due to fog

The flight from Moscow departed for an alternate airport to Samarkand.

On December 17, restrictions were imposed on the reception of aircraft at Karshi International Airport, the press service of Uzbekistan Airports reports.

Due to rain and fog, the crew of the Ural Airlines flight SVR2457 on the Moscow-Karshi route decided to proceed to an alternate airport in Samarkand.

Data on the period of restrictions on the operation of the airport are not disclosed.
