National Agency for Social Protection has taken control of the case where children who did not attend school were illegally taught religion.

The committee sent the case materials to the responsible authorities. Additionally, work is being carried out in cooperation with relevant agencies to return children to the formal education system, assess their socio-psychological condition, and conduct preventive work with parents.

It’s worth noting that the incident occurred in the Namangan region. Since June 2025, a 31-year-old man has been renting housing, organizing “hujra” and illegally teaching religion to 23 children. He had no religious education and studied religious concepts through unknown websites on the internet, and children did not attend school.
