On October 21, a video circulated on social media showing a group of schoolchildren engaging in a mass brawl. The Department of Public Education of the Samarkand region commented on the incident.
It was revealed that the incident occurred on October 13 in the Urgut district. 9th-grade students of the 41st school quarreled over the phone. To resolve the conflict, they met the next day, but the conversation turned into a fight. The schoolchildren standing nearby tried to separate them.
On this fact, a working group was created, which, together with the Department of Internal Affairs, conducted an investigation. After the incident, preventive conversations were held at the school with students and their parents. According to the department, administrative cases have been initiated against the parents of 12 students involved in the fight.
As a reminder, residents of Surkhandarya caused a fight while distributing coal. According to authorities, the quarrel was caused by the actions of individual citizens.
