Uzbekistan’s First Ambassador to Nepal, Sardor Rustambayev, presented his credentials to the country’s President, Ramchandra Paudel, reports Dunyo.
According to the information, the leader of Nepal expressed deep gratitude for the appointment of Uzbekistan’s ambassador to his country for the first time in history and emphasized interest in developing multifaceted relations with Tashkent. The parties also discussed a wide range of issues on the bilateral agenda.
At the same time, the representatives of the two countries paid special attention to the prospects for deepening trade and economic cooperation. Ramchandra Paudel noted the significant potential for interaction in such areas as hydropower, tourism, and education, and expressed readiness to implement joint projects.
The leader of Nepal also emphasized the importance of developing mutually beneficial cooperation within the framework of international organizations and indicated mutual interest in joint work on pressing issues such as global climate change and the ecology of mountainous regions.
Earlier, it was reported that the new ambassador of Brazil arrived in Uzbekistan. The diplomat presented his credentials to the head of the Foreign Ministry.
