On December 11-12, the head of the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan, Saida Mirziyoyeva, visited Rome, where she participated in the final session of determining the prize named after Sheikh Zaid bin Sultan Al Nahyan, founder of the United Arab Emirates.

Saida Mirziyoyeva participated in the jury that collectively elected the deputies of the prize, which is awarded on February 4th, International Human Brotherhood Day, by the same-named organization — the High Committee of Human Brotherhood, which was established through the efforts of Pope Francis and the Grand Imam of Egypt, Ahmed al-Tayeb. The prize winners receive one million dollars.

The meetings held during this event became an important stage of work aimed at comprehensively discussing the nominated candidates and assessing their contribution to the development of mutual respect, solidarity, and human dignity.

This year, truly strong candidates were presented for consideration — people and organizations whose activities have a noticeable and positive impact on their communities. I am confident that the collective decision we have made will make a significant contribution to the further development of mutual understanding and constructive dialogue in the world, — Saida Mirziyoyeva wrote.
