Donald Trump has stated there is a risk of a third world war, noting that this could be due to the situation around Ukraine, RIA Novosti reports, citing the White House leader.
The US leader warned that such “games” in this context could lead to a global conflict. At the same time, the head of the White House emphasized that the country does not directly participate in it and is limited to mediation in the negotiation process.
I said it before: if everyone continues to play such games, it will end with the third world war. We don’t want this to happen, — said the US President.
At the same time, the president noted that Ukraine and European countries are interested in more actively involving Washington in resolving the situation. The country’s leader said that the US supplies weapons to NATO states, which are then sent to Ukraine. The country’s leader also shared that he had previously considered the likelihood of reaching an agreement between Russia and Ukraine high, but territorial disagreements proved to be a serious obstacle on this path.
Donald Trump described these negotiations as “a complex real estate transaction multiplied by 1,000,” and also reported that one of the points was excluded from the proposed peace plan. According to the president, the concept of the agreement was well-received by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and the Ukrainian people.
Earlier, it was reported that the US would intensify the deportation of illegal individuals after an Afghan attacked military personnel near the White House. Donald Trump said that the authorities will check all Afghan citizens who arrived in the States under Biden.
