In Uzbekistan, the number of pensioners who have reached the age of 100 or more and are receiving pensions has reached 461, according to the Pension Fund.

According to the information, of the total number of pensioners, 131 (28.5%) are men and 330 (71.5%) are women.

The largest number of pensioners aged 100 and older reside in Kashkadarya (73), Surkhandarya (69), and Tashkent (41) regions.

There are fewer centenarians in Navoi region — only 11 pensioners aged over 100 live there.

Earlier, it was reported that Uzbekistan would introduce discounts for pensioners in the tourism sector. The offer will be valid for one month for men over 60 and women over 55.
