In Tashkent region, residents unlawfully embezzled billions of soums worth of gas

Cases of illegal use of natural gas worth 3.4 billion soums were identified in the Tashkent region, the press service of “Hududgazta’minot” reports.

The first case of violation was identified in a residential building in the “Khojakent” neighborhood of Bostanlyk district. It turned out that the owner illegally used natural gas without design and technical documentation. A recalculation was made on this fact, and damage amounting to 3 billion 43 million soums was revealed.

Another case was identified in a citizen’s house in the “Ilgor” neighborhood of Ohangaron district. When studying the use of natural gas, it was revealed that the consumer illegally connected to the gas network without design and technical documentation and opened a bakery. A report was drawn up on this fact, and a recalculation of the damage amounting to 395 million 900 thousand soums was carried out.

All documents related to the above-mentioned cases of illegal use have been handed over to law enforcement agencies, — the report states.

As a reminder, gas supply to gas stations in the Fergana Valley regions will be cut off for two days. Considering this, the volume of gasoline supplies to petrol stations will be increased.
