In Jizzakh, a taxi driver harassed a girl, propositioned her for intimacy, and sent her pornography

In Jizzakh region, a taxi driver who harassed a passenger was convicted, according to Nemolchi.uz project reports.
On 18 August, a 26-year-old man was driving a local resident. During the trip, he suggested recording his phone number for taxi services.
During the meeting, he behaved politely and did not commit any indecent acts towards her. Therefore, she undoubtedly called him to take her to the specified address, but this time the man started touching her hands and feet and offering indecent things.
The girl immediately got out of the car. However, he didn’t stop there and started calling her, sending several porn videos on Telegram with a proposal to have sex with him.
The victim appealed to law enforcement authorities. During the pre-trial investigation, a mobile phone containing pornographic materials was seized from the man.
The Forish court found the man guilty under Articles 41-1 (Sexual harassment) and 189 (Production, import, distribution, advertising, demonstration of pornographic products) of the Administrative Responsibility Code. He was sentenced to five days’ detention.
The court ruled to destroy the pornographic materials on his phone and confiscate the smartphone for the benefit of the state.
