In the Fergana region, a 60-year-old man brutally beat his wife, Millar reports.
The incident occurred around 7:00 PM in the Dasht neighborhood of Baghdad district. It is reported that there were frequent conflicts in the family. On the day of the incident, a quarrel broke out again between the spouses. The man began to insult the woman, after which he brutally beat her. Due to injuries, the woman was unable to get up on her own, and her daughters helped her.
The victim was hospitalized and received immediate medical attention. The man was found guilty under Article 126-1, Part 6 (Family (domestic) violence). He was sentenced to 3 years in prison.
