On December 13, a major fire broke out on the territory of the “Aviasozlar” market in the Yashnabad district. Emergency services provided initial information about the situation.
According to the department, at 01:30, a fire broke out in the administrative building on the market grounds. Rescue crews arrived at the scene at 01:34, and firefighting operations are currently underway.
There were no reports of casualties as a result of the fire. The situation is fully under the control of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Tashkent.
The “Aviasozlar” market (Kadysheva) caught fire from the side with a row of canteens and cafes, according to eyewitnesses, the fire intensified after the sound of an explosion, a helicopter was flying over the market. The fire was extinguished at 03:03, there were no casualties.
