Where else in Tashkent will there be bus sections in the center of the road?

The project to expand the BRT system was presented to the President.

The BRT bus lane system will also appear on other streets of Tashkent. This is stated in the presentation of the capital’s khokim.

According to the BRT network expansion project until 2030, which was shown to the president, the system will appear on the following streets:

  • first stage — Shota Rustaveli Street, Shahrisabz Street, Amir Temur Avenue, Yangi Sergeli Street;
  • second stage — Mahtumkuli Street, Mirzo Ulugbek—Feruza—Yuzrabot streets;
  • the third stage — Lutfi and Muqimiy streets, Nurafshon street;
  • fourth stage — Karatash—Kukcha Darvoza streets, Small Ring Road—Parkent street.

According to the project, the total cost of the project is estimated at $110 million, the total length of the entire line will be 57.5 km.

Earlier, it was reported that the president tested a new bus section in Tashkent. After the bus trip, Shavkat Mirziyoyev instructed to improve the convenience of using public transport.
