From December 6th to 7th, 2025, the IDA 2025 international exhibition was held in Tashkent, bringing together construction and finishing materials manufacturers, distributors, interior designers, architects, and retail chain representatives. Within the framework of the business program and the exposition, new solutions for construction, repair, and interior decoration were presented.

One of the key events of the IDA 2025 exhibition was the premiere of the new interior paint Mute from the Tikkurila brand. For the first time, the company presented a premium deep matte wall coating designed to create quiet, visually comfortable spaces in residential and public interiors to the professional community. The paint forms a smooth, deeply matte coating without pronounced traces of application and sparkles, which allows it to be used in residential and public spaces where a restrained, neutral visual environment is required.

To support the product concept, a separate palette of eighteen shades has been developed. It incorporated soft, muffled colors, which look especially vivid in matte execution and organically combine with relevant interior solutions. The palette is designed to simplify the work of designers and architects when designing interiors with an emphasis on comfort and visual order.

An important part of the launch is the new self-adhesive A5 format samples, made using real Mute paint. This format allows you to assess the shade directly on the object, in different rooms, and under different lighting before making a purchase decision, which reduces the risk of color discrepancies between the catalog and the actual wall coverage.

When developing Mute, we focused on the needs of the professional market — consistent quality, ease of application, and a well-balanced, carefully refined palette. The new deeply matte paint addresses several tasks at once, from visually smoothing out spaces to simplifying on-site color work. At the same time, Mute helps create a calming, relaxing atmosphere, turning interiors into harmonious and comfortable environments. We are confident that Mute will become a fundamental tool for designers and contractors working in the modern interiors segment, — said Kholida Boymatova, Tikkurila’s Sales Manager in Uzbekistan.

Tikkurila has been in the market for over 160 years and is represented in more than 40 countries. The company’s product range includes over 900 products, a significant portion of which comes from water-diluted, more environmentally friendly solutions. The brand pays special attention to the development of sustainable formulas and color solutions focused on long-term operation and compliance with the requirements of the professional market.
