The air quality in Tashkent has greatly improved
Meanwhile, the quality of the atmosphere remains average.
On 10 September, the concentration of finely dispersed particles PM2.5 reached 15 μg/m³, which is three times the WHO recommended limit, according to IQAir data.
Therefore, as of 08:00, the levels of ozone pollutants and PM10 in Tashkent’s air did not surpass the maximum permissible limits. However, the concentration of hazardous particles PM2.5 was three times higher than the WHO standard. Air quality is rated as average.
It should be reminded that Uzbekistan was not on the list of countries meeting WHO air quality standards. The Swiss company IQAir showed a report for 2024.
