Special equipment for preparation for the winter season was inspected in Tashkent, the press service of the REN reports.

The inspection was conducted at the “Technopark” complex in Yashnabad district. The event was attended by the Minister of Energy, Jurabek Mirzamahmudov, the Hokim of Tashkent, Shavkat Umurzakov, heads of district khokimiyats, as well as heads of the Main Directorate of Road Safety, the Tax Department, the Department of Emergency Situations, the National Guard, the Department of Improvement, Construction and Housing and Communal Services.

To ensure prompt and effective response in adverse weather conditions during the winter period, the following forces and resources have been brought to full readiness:

  • 51 excavator-loader;
  • 273 emergency recovery teams;
  • 52 truck crane;
  • 25 dump trucks;
  • 31 water pump;
  • 427 units of other special equipment.

During the inspection, the technical readiness of the equipment, its completeness, and readiness for uninterrupted operation, including in emergency situations, were assessed. In addition, the distribution of forces and resources involved in the city during the period of abnormally low temperatures was analyzed, taking into account ensuring the stable and coordinated work of all relevant services.
