A criminal known by the nickname “Gryaz”, who had been hiding from law enforcement since 2023, has been returned to Uzbekistan from Turkey, the Ministry of Internal Affairs press service reports.
The man was brought to Uzbekistan through the efforts of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the State Security Service, and the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Istanbul. The citizen, born in 1993, is accused of committing several crimes, including threats of murder, robbery, extortion, and organizing a criminal community. The suspect was wanted by the Yashnabad District Department of Internal Affairs and had been hiding in Turkey for a long time.
On December 5, 2025, he was brought to Uzbekistan and transferred to local law enforcement agencies for further investigation. He is charged with several articles of the Criminal Code of Uzbekistan, including organizing a criminal community and other serious crimes.
Recall that internationally wanted Uzbek citizens were returned to Tashkent from the UAE. Citizens are accused of economic and property crimes.
