In Karakalpakstan, law enforcement officers detained three drunk citizens who attempted to steal fuel from oil depots by pouring it into plastic canisters.
The incident occurred on the territory of the Taxiatosh Oil Depot branch in the Kungrad district. Three citizens, who were intoxicated, attempted to remove 220 liters of diesel fuel, poured into plastic canisters, from the depot. During the inspection, law enforcement officers determined that the offenders were oil depot employees.
Law enforcement officers took appropriate measures against the detainees. Additionally, since one of the offenders was driving under the influence of alcohol, law enforcement officers sent his vehicle to the impound lot, and administrative documents were drawn up against the man.
Earlier, it was reported that three men attempted to steal a Paynet terminal in Tashkent but were unable to remove it. Law enforcement officers who arrived at the scene quickly caught up with the failed thieves.
