In the Fergana region, a man beat his neighbor to death with a stone due to a land dispute, Millar reports.
According to the deceased’s mother, the incident occurred on November 5th. It is reported that the cause of the conflict between the neighbors was the land issue — citizens did not divide the garden. After the incident, the attacker fled and disappeared. The deceased had five children.
The accused was detained, the case was taken under control, and an investigation began. A criminal case has been initiated against the attacker under Article 104, Part 3 (Intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm). He faces up to 10 years in prison.
