The plane was not damaged, and the Transport Prosecutor's Office has initiated an investigation.

On September 12, a plane bound for Tashkent returned to its departure airport after a bird entered the engine, the press service of the East Siberian Transport Prosecutor’s Office reported.
The incident happened in Irkutsk at 04:40. The Ural Airlines aircraft, heading to Tashkent, was compelled to return to the departure airport. The reason was that a bird entered the engine during takeoff. The A-319 aircraft safely returned to the departure airport following the decision by the crew commander.
There were 91 passengers and 6 crew members on board. As a result of the incident, no one was injured. The aircraft remained operational and was not damaged. The Transport Prosecutor’s Office has initiated an investigation to clarify the circumstances of the incident and evaluate compliance with safety regulations.
As a reminder, the plane from St. Petersburg to Urgench has departed for a backup airfield in Moscow. The reason was the introduction of a “carpet” regime at Pulkovo Airport following the drone attack.
