Uzbekistan plans to work with the US in the field of space research, exchange personnel, and collaborate on launching the Haven-1 and Haven-2 orbital stations, according to the press service of the Ministry of Digital Technologies.
These issues were discussed during his visit to the USA by the head of the ministry, Sherzod Shermatov, and the vice-president of the Vast aerospace company, Rich Leshner. In particular, the parties discussed personnel exchange, as well as the participation of Uzbek specialists in space missions related to the upcoming launch of the Haven-1 orbital station.

In addition, during the discussion, the parties put forward a number of initiatives to train and train personnel, organize internships, and create laboratories, which will be aimed at expanding practical cooperation between Uzbekistan and the American company. As a result, representatives of the two countries signed a memorandum of understanding, which provides for the expansion of the participation of Uzbek specialists in international space programs and orbital projects.
Earlier, it was reported that SpaceX could send Uzbekistan’s satellite into space. It will be assembled by young Uzbek engineers from a Japanese university.
