Since the beginning of 2025, Tashkent residents have received 181.8 billion soums in compensation for the illegal demolition of residential buildings, industrial premises, and other objects by the capital’s khokimiyats, the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office reports.

According to information, during this period, more than 130 thousand enforcement documents totaling 2.8 trillion soums were received by the Bureau of Compulsory Enforcement. As a result, more than 75 thousand cases were completed and a total of 538 billion soums were recovered. In addition, residents of the capital received 181.8 billion soums in 63 enforcement cases for the illegal demolition of residential buildings, production facilities, and other objects by the capital’s khokimiyats.

Also, specialists recovered 247.7 billion soums in favor of more than 5,000 citizens, including over 6.4 billion soums in wages and 241.3 billion soums as compensation for damages. Currently, law enforcement agencies are conducting enforcement actions on 55,157 enforcement cases totaling 1.2 trillion soums in favor of citizens and 147,000 enforcement cases totaling 4.8 trillion soums in favor of legal entities.

Earlier, it was reported that tens of trillion soums had been recovered from Uzbek citizens since the beginning of 2025. In the Bureau of Compulsory Enforcement system, the procedure for submitting court documents has been made online.
