In the Khorezm region, law enforcement officers detained a fraudster who had been wanted for more than a year, the press service of the regional traffic police reported.
A man born in 1975 was detained in Urgench. He had been hiding from investigative and judicial authorities for more than a year after committing a crime under Article 168 (Fraud).
Under this article, he faces 3 to 10 years in prison. As a precautionary measure, the man was placed in a pre-trial detention center. The investigation has begun.
