From November 14th to 17th, some streets in Tashkent will be temporarily closed due to high-level international events, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs press service.
According to the information, during this period, the authorities plan to hold a number of major international events in the capital, due to which a number of streets will be closed to vehicles, and some will be restricted. However, the department reported that for the convenience of residents and guests of the city, the authorities are organizing bypass traffic along alternative routes.
In particular, the restrictions will affect the following locations:
- On November 15, from 09:00 to 19:00, traffic will be blocked from the intersection of Abdulla Qodiriy and Qorasaroy streets along Qorasaroy Street to the intersection of Nurafshon and Qorasaroy streets, drivers will be able to move from Qorasaroy Street to the Intersection of Highways and from Nurafshon Street along Sebzar Street;
- On November 15th, from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM, traffic will be cut off from the intersection of Abdulla Qodiriy Street and the Ganges Bridge to the intersection of Abdulla Qodiriy, Qorasaroy, and Zarqaynar Streets, and drivers will be able to travel along Sebzar and Nurafshon Streets.
- On November 16, from 09:00 to 15:00, traffic will be blocked from the Islam Karimov — Furkat intersection along the secondary road of Furkat Street to Khadra Square, drivers will be able to travel along Alisher Navoi and Islam Karimov streets;
- On November 16, from 10:00 to 15:00, it is planned to periodically partially block traffic from the intersection of Islam Karimov and Batyr Zakirov streets along Islam Karimov Street to the intersection of Islam Karimov and Furkat streets, drivers will be able to drive to Furkat Street along Batyr Zakirov — Alisher Navoi and Almazar — Beshagach streets.
Also, for this period, the entry of cargo vehicles will be restricted in the capital and the movement of trucks through the central part of the city will be completely suspended. Driving from the Fergana Valley to the southern regions and back will be carried out along the D-012 highway.
Earlier, it was reported that a new toll road will appear in the Andijan region. They want to implement the project with the support of Chinese partners.
