Raids are continuing in Tashkent to identify vehicles placing advertisements in violation of the law, the press service of the capital’s administration reports.

According to the information, the events are being conducted by officers of the Main Department of Internal Affairs and the territorial department of the Antimonopoly Committee. During the inspection, 470 vehicles with advertisements were checked: 390 of them had no advertising passport. Law enforcement officers took appropriate measures against the drivers and held explanatory talks with them.

Law enforcement officers reminded that to place outdoor advertising on vehicles, it is necessary to obtain a passport of the advertising space at the state services. Some drivers said they didn’t know about this requirement. As a result, law enforcement officers issued 389 warnings, and one car was impounded. It is noted that after this, about 1200 applications for advertising passports have already been received through the motor transport network.

Earlier, it was reported that in Tashkent, they began to fight against chaotic advertisements on cars. Specialists have begun to conduct systematic monitoring.
