The authorities in the Tashkent region penalised the driver who failed to give way to the ambulance
The man explained that he did not hear the siren and horn because of the loud music in the car.
On September 7, a video circulated on social media showing the driver deliberately not giving way to the ambulance. The Tashkent Regional Department of Road Safety commented on the incident.
It turned out that the incident occurred in the Yangiyul district. Law enforcement officers conducted an investigation and found the driver of the Lacetti car. The man explained his actions by saying that music was playing loudly in his car, the windows were closed, and he didn’t hear the sirens or the ambulance horns.
I was also in a hurry for work. The music was playing loudly, the windows were closed. I didn’t hear the ambulance signals. A car suddenly approached me. I didn’t understand. Then I noticed. This won’t happen again, — said the driver.
An administrative report was filed against the man under the relevant articles. Law enforcement officers held a preventive conversation with him.
As a reminder, in Tashkent, an Audi car collided with an ambulance: the car overturned. Two people injured required medical assistance.
