Residents of two districts of Tashkent will be partially left without electricity — locations

The disconnection is related to the extension of the repair work period.

On October 4, power will be cut off in several mahallas of the Yunusabad and Almazar districts of Tashkent, Veolia Energy’s press service reports.

According to the information, due to repair work, specialists will completely disconnect the power substation located near the Beshkurgan settlement from 08:00 to 18:00. In this regard, the complete shutdown of TC-4, which was supposed to last until October 3rd, will be extended for another day.

In particular, on October 4, from 08:00 to 18:00, the power supply will be temporarily cut off at the following addresses in the Yunusabad district:

  • microfinance organizations: Astraobod, Turkiston, Ming Chinor, Nurmakon, Sobirobod, Hamkorobod, Katta Hasanboy, Sharq Haqiqati, Registon, Yolarik, Uch Qahramon.
  • Amir Temur, Mustaqillik, Ahmad Donish, Sharof Rashidov, Yahyo Gulyamov, Shahrisabz, Shastri, Yangishahar, Dehkanabad, Sohibkor, Katta Halqa Yuli and other avenues and streets;
  • residential areas: Yunusobod 1-19, Markaz-1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 12, 15, 17, 18, Beltepa, Ibn Sino-1 and 2, Jarariq, Beshkurgan 1-4, Olimpiya, Shifokorlar shaharchasi, Talabalar shaharchasi.
  • Family polyclinic №52, as well as schools and enterprises.

Additionally, the outage will affect part of the Olmazor district:

  • microfinance organizations: Ahil, Gulzor, Ibrohim Ota, Korasaroy, Elparvar;
  • as well as schools, family polyclinics, mosques, water pumping stations and enterprises.

Consumers apologized to them for the inconvenience caused.

Earlier, it was reported that Uzbekistan could set a new record for energy consumption in winter. The authorities plan to complete preparations for the autumn-winter season by October 5th.
