In the Tashkent region, a drunk man harassed a neighbor and was detained for five days, the Supreme Court’s press service reported.

According to the department, the incident occurred on August 16 in Bekabad. A woman was cleaning the entrance hall in front of her front door when a stranger approached her. Being drunk, he started insulting the woman and harassing her. He was sentenced to 5 days of arrest under administrative article 41-1 (Sexual harassment).

Recall that in Navoi, a mahalla chairman harassed a woman and was detained for three days. The civil servant sent inappropriate messages to the victim and drank alcohol at work. In court, the accused tried to justify his actions by claiming he had no ill intent towards the victim and asked the court to mitigate the punishment.
