A passenger from Uzbekistan, during a flight from Dubai to Tashkent, harassed a woman sitting next to him and was detained for five days, according to the court’s decision.

The man pestered her, spoke insulting and humiliating words, touched her feet, and didn’t respond to her requests to stop. Upon arrival in Tashkent, the man was detained. The offender turned out to be a 53-year-old resident of the Fergana region.

During the flight, he used indecent phrases like “Sit in this seat — you’ll have fun”, “What did you do in Dubai?”, “You came to Dubai to have fun like everyone else”, “You’re jumping on other men in Dubai,” thus humiliating the passenger’s honor and dignity.

In court, he admitted his guilt and asked to be lightened. The court classified his actions as sexual harassment and imposed a five-day administrative arrest. In addition, the man will be charged 15% of the basic calculated amount for each day of detention in a special detention center.

Recall that in the metro, a young man harassed a stranger and was arrested for five days. In court, the accused promised not to repeat such a thing in the future.
