A Spark driver in Tashkent region struck and killed a pedestrian at a crossing — video
The young man died at the scene from his injuries, and a criminal case has been opened.
In the Tashkent region, a Spark driver killed a 21-year-old man at a pedestrian crossing, Millar reports.
The fatal accident happened in August 2025 in the Yangiyul district. The driver lost control and struck a pedestrian crossing at a designated crossing. The pedestrian died at the scene from his injuries. A criminal case has been initiated under Article 266, Part 2 (Violation of traffic safety rules or operation of vehicles). An investigation is ongoing.
As a reminder, two fatal accidents happened at the Qamchiq Pass. As a result of these incidents, three people died and one was injured. In both cases, the truck drivers lost control and collided with nearby trucks.
Earlier, it was reported that four cars were involved in a traffic accident in Tashkent. One of the drivers required medical assistance.
