In cooperation with the Tashkent city administration and the Ministry of Transport, a website for tracking garbage trucks online has been launched, the press service reports.
Now, residents of the capital will be able to monitor the movement of garbage trucks in real time through the GPS system on the Tozapoytaxt platform. In addition, the acceptance of complaints and appeals from citizens in the field of waste management is carried out centrally through the xalqnazorati platform.
Also, from January 1, 2026:
- The possibility of online monitoring of the arrival time and route of garbage trucks in each mahalla will be created;
- a two-year program for providing mahallas with garbage containers will be announced;
- daily waste volume will be published in open online access;
- a mechanism for evaluating the services provided by citizens will be introduced;
- the implementation of contracts concluded with legal entities will be monitored through online monitoring.
Earlier, it was reported that thousands of Tashkent residents could be left without electricity due to debts for garbage. Subscribers were given five days after receiving an SMS about their debt, after which their access to electricity payments was restricted.
