In Tashkent, second vestibules will open at four metro stations
The reason for the opening was the increase in passenger traffic.

On December 11th, the second vestibules will reopen at four metro stations in Tashkent due to increased passenger traffic, the metro’s press service reported.
According to the department, taking into account the increase in passenger traffic, as well as after many years of closure due to low attendance, technical work was carried out to update the entrance (vestibule) sections at the “Uzbekistan”, “Machine builders”, “Gafur Gulom”, and “National park” stations. Starting December 11, 2025, these vestibules will reopen for passengers.
Currently, all technical processes in these vestibules have been completed, and the station is fully equipped with modern equipment. The Tashkent Metro continues to provide passengers with convenient and safe service, — the message says.
It should be recalled that in June 2024, the metro reported that these stations had been commissioned 30-40 years ago with unfinished second vestibules. Then the metro initiated the commissioning of these vestibules for consideration and the government gave permission to carry out the construction work.
Earlier, it was reported that the restoration of second lobbies at some metro stations in Tashkent had begun. The question of the completion date will depend on the technical condition of the construction processes.
