The U-17 World Chess Championship concluded in Antalya, Turkey, according to the press service of the Uzbekistan Chess Federation.
The championship was held among boys and girls aged 9 to 17 in fast and blitz disciplines. The Uzbekistan team took first place in the overall team standings, winning 12 medals — five gold, two silver, and five bronze.
Turkey took second place with 8 medals. The FIDE team took third place, winning 6 medals.
As a reminder, chess player Javohir Sindarov was awarded the title and received an apartment. The athlete became the winner of the World Cup 2025. In addition, his coaches will receive monetary rewards.
