In Tashkent, the former building of the Ministry of Transport was sold for 187.7 billion soums at an electronic auction, according to the E-auksion platform.

According to the information, the facility, located in the Shaykhontohur district, has a total area of 5.8 thousand square meters. The land plot area is 0.62 hectares. The starting price of the lot was set at 110.4 billion soums. However, within the framework of the auction, which lasted more than an hour, the building’s value increased by 70% of its original price.

A total of 14 proposals were submitted during this period, while Samarador private company’s offer proved to be the highest, amounting to 187.7 billion soums. It is noted that the winning company was registered on August 31, 2017, in Karakalpakstan, its authorized capital is 25.7 billion soums, and its main activity is business support services.

Earlier, it was reported that a hotel would be built on the territory of the Tashtyrma. The Hokimiyat reported on the long-term improvement of the land.
