In Andijan and Tashkent, as part of an experiment, regional social service centers will be established to provide comprehensive assistance to vulnerable segments of the population, according to a government decree.
According to the information, authorities plan to establish the activities of 20 regional centers located in Andijan and the Shaykhontohur district of the capital during 2026-2027. Further, these organizations will be engaged in providing social services and assistance to categories of the population in need of social protection.
They will also ensure the integration of children in difficult life situations into society by studying their problems and social adaptation. In addition, regional centers will provide rehabilitation, habilitation, physiotherapy, and therapeutic physical education services to the population, as well as care for citizens in need.
At the same time, persons entitled to social services on preferential terms will be able to use the services of regional centers based on a referral from the “Inson” centers, and all procedures related to using the services of regional centers will be carried out entirely electronically.
Earlier, it was reported that low-income families would be paid to plant trees. The plot will be given to the citizens by the forest fund.
