In Tashkent, a bus and a car took turns hitting a man at a pedestrian crossing

The pedestrian died on the spot from his injuries, a criminal case has been initiated.

On December 9, in Tashkent, a car and a bus killed a pedestrian at a crossing, the press service of the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate reported.

The incident occurred around 10:30 PM on Islam Karimov Street in the Mirobod district. The Yutong electric bus driver hit a pedestrian who was crossing the road at an unregulated pedestrian crossing. Due to the impact, the victim was thrown onto the opposite lane where he was hit by a Haval car.

The pedestrian died at the scene from his injuries. A criminal case has been initiated under Article 266, Part 2 (Violation of traffic safety rules or operation of vehicles resulting in human death) of the Criminal Code. The investigation is ongoing.

Recall that a similar incident occurred on November 28. In Tashkent, an Onix driver killed a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. After the collision, the man collided with two more cars.
