New measures to support entrepreneurs have been approved in Uzbekistan
It is planned to allocate 4 trillion soums for the implementation of more than 5 thousand projects in 2026-2027.

In Uzbekistan, new measures to support businessmen will be introduced, in connection with which the state will allocate 4 trillion soums to support 5 thousand business projects, according to the presidential decree.
According to the information, the measure will take effect from November 1, 2025. In particular, starting from this period, the “Entrepreneurship Development Company” will allocate resources to provide loans through commercial banks for production and service projects. Entrepreneurs will be able to borrow up to 10 billion soums to facilitate businessmen’s transition to the “champion” category.
Also, the company will allocate 4 trillion soums for the implementation of 5 thousand business projects in 2026-2027. In addition, the organization will refinance loans of up to 500 million soums allocated by commercial banks for micro-projects of small businesses in the production, service, and green economy sectors. At the same time, the following conditions must be met:
- reduction of the interest rate on the allocated loan to 6%, but not more than by 4 percentage points higher than the key rate of the Central Bank;
- submission of projects to entrepreneurs operating for at least 1 year and having 2 employees, providing for the creation of 5 or more new jobs.
Earlier, it was reported that the president announced amnesty for businessmen’s tax fines. Entrepreneurs will be able to correct shortcomings in turnover tax until November 1.
