Uzbekistan can simplify business visas for Afghans
The countries discussed further cooperation.

Afghanistan proposed simplifying the procedure for obtaining business visas and invitations for Afghan entrepreneurs to Uzbekistan, the press service of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan reports.
According to the information, the chairman of the chamber, Davron Vahabov, met with a delegation from Afghanistan headed by Ariyan Azimi and discussed trade and economic cooperation between the countries. Within the framework of the dialogue, the Afghan side proposed a number of initiatives aimed at expanding cooperation, as well as strengthening ties between the private sector and stimulating mutual investments.
In particular, the parties discussed the organization of quarterly B2B meetings in Tashkent, Kabul, Termez, and Balkh, as well as the opening of the ATP office in Tashkent, which should help strengthen investment ties. The two countries’ representatives also discussed accelerating cargo transportation processes and optimizing customs procedures at the Termez port.
In addition, the Afghan side proposed to Uzbekistan to simplify the issuance of business visas and the processing of invitations for Afghan entrepreneurs, as well as to make it an annual holding of exhibitions in Kabul and Tashkent or Mazar-i-Sharif and Termez. The parties emphasized that the implementation of these initiatives will help increase the volume of trade between the two countries, launch new investment projects, and further intensify cooperation in the private sector.
Earlier, the Taliban had proposed to Russia, the US, and China to fight for Afghanistan. The Afghan Defense Minister stated that the countries should compete in construction and energy investments.
