In Uzbekistan, they want to take wind direction into account during construction
The authorities will monitor the impact of new buildings on wind patterns.
In Uzbekistan, a standard will be created to take into account the wind rose in the construction of buildings, as follows from the program of measures to further strengthen reforms in the field of ecology and environmental protection.
According to the information, the authorities should develop a corresponding regulation by April 2026. In particular, it will include:
- establishing requirements for buildings and structures, taking into account wind directions;
- accounting for the impact of buildings and structures on air flows during their placement;
- introduction of mandatory obtaining of conclusions from construction, environmental, and cadastre bodies before the start of construction work.
The Ministry of Construction and Housing and Communal Services, the Committee for Ecology, the Cadastre Agency, the Agency for Technical Regulation, and the Ministry of Economy and Finance are designated as responsible.
Earlier, it was reported that the real estate market in Uzbekistan would turn upside down. The President issued a decree on increasing the volume of mortgages, mass renovations, and construction by 10 times.
