In Tashkent, people complained about a huge queue at the stop near the closed Tuzel metro station

The responsible authorities clarified the situation.

Information appeared on social media about huge queues and lack of space in the metro buses that run near the closed Tuzel metro station. The Tashkent Metro press service commented on the situation.

According to eyewitnesses, buses are already full, especially in the morning. A video circulated on social media showing a huge queue of people standing near the bus stop, unable to reach their destination and waiting for buses.

The press service of the department confirmed the situation, but noted that at this stop, in addition to the metro buses, there are also 186 buses on 17 city routes. Experts noted that the share of metro bus passengers is only 20% of the total number of citizens and urged social media users not to draw one-sided conclusions and to rely only on accurate and official information.

Earlier, it was reported that the head of the Ministry of Transport reported on measures to combat traffic jams in Tashkent. Ilhom Mahkamov responded to Senator Erkin Gadoev’s inquiry and shared plans to connect the suburb with the capital via bus routes.
