In Tashkent, construction work was inspected as part of environmental protection measures
Specialists have suspended work at four facilities that are harming air quality.

In Tashkent, research was conducted on construction projects within the framework of environmental protection measures, the Special Commission’s press service reports.
In order to prevent and eliminate the factors causing air pollution during the construction process in the city of Tashkent, 232 employees of law enforcement agencies and regulatory organizations were involved. During the conducted activities, 97 objects were studied.
As a result, the following were identified:
- violation of requirements to prevent dust and sand particles from rising into the air in 14 cases;
- and in 9 cases, emissions of pollutants into the atmospheric air exceeding the standards within permissible levels were allowed;
- In 52 cases, it was revealed that 25% of the construction site was not landscaped.
- as a result, water sprayers have been installed at 6 facilities, and wheel washing points for vehicles have been equipped at 12 facilities.
Swimming pools were built, 14 written instructions were issued to eliminate negative situations, and responsible authorities suspended construction work at 4 facilities damaging air quality. 47 individuals received official warnings, 41 individuals were held administratively liable.
Thanks to the practical measures being implemented recently, air pollution is being prevented, and these actions contribute to environmental cleanliness, — the Special Commission noted.
