Digital prosecutor’s supervision will appear in Uzbekistan

The authorities also plan to digitize the entire process of handling criminal case materials.

In Uzbekistan, it is planned to introduce digital prosecutorial supervision in the system of the Prosecutor General’s Office to prevent cases of violation of citizens’ rights, the press service of the country’s president reports.

According to the information, the authorities proposed to introduce digital prosecutorial supervision in the system of the Prosecutor General’s Office, as well as automate the processes of inspection and monitoring. It is planned that this will allow for the prompt detection of violations of the law, real-time monitoring of officials’ actions, and ensuring the transparency of supervisory activities.

During the meeting, it was noted that since the beginning of 2025, state bodies have adopted over 7,000 illegal documents, and the activities of regulatory bodies have led to the violation of the rights of 12,500 entrepreneurs. In this regard, the authorities want to digitalize the entire process of conducting criminal cases. Thus, all stages from the moment of receipt of the crime report to the execution of the court decision will be recorded electronically.

In addition, it is planned to introduce AI technologies into investigative activities. This should allow for the acceleration of investigative actions, reduce the influence of the human factor, and increase the responsibility of employees. At the same time, the country’s leader instructed officials to begin training personnel in the areas of artificial intelligence, cyber and digital law to enhance the potential of law enforcement agencies in preventing and investigating digital crimes.

The result should be the formation of a class of professional personnel capable of applying modern analysis methods, early detection, and effective response to digital risks and threats, — the head of state noted.

Earlier, it was reported that officials in Uzbekistan would be punished for unjustified fines imposed by entrepreneurs. Since the beginning of the year, the courts have satisfied thousands of complaints from businessmen.
