The “Smart city” system will be launched in the Tashkent region.

It is planned to launch a “Smart city” system in the Tashkent region, which will be aimed at forming a modern, convenient, and effective management model, as well as the widespread introduction of digital technologies in the region, the press service of the Chirchik khokimiyat reports.
According to the information, the project is planned to be launched in Chirchik in stages. To implement the plans, Chirchik city mayor Murodjon Abdurahimov visited Urgench to study how this project based on artificial intelligence is working. During the visit, the leaders discussed the application of technologies to optimize management processes, improve the quality of services provided to the population, and promptly address problems arising in the communal sector.
The project is planned to be implemented in the city territory in stages, and it will be fully operational in 2026. It is noted that the system will operate around the clock and will allow real-time reception of residents’ appeals, identification of problems in the communal sphere, and their prompt resolution. It will also monitor and warn about possible malfunctions in the city’s infrastructure using AI.
It is planned that the new project will allow for the formation of a modern, convenient, and effective model of city management, as well as the widespread introduction of digital technologies and the further improvement of the quality of services provided to the population.
Earlier, it was reported that Uzbekistan and Kuwait signed a package of cooperation agreements. The countries will jointly create “smart” cities.
