A “Fergana” tourist and recreational zone will be created in the Fergana region, according to a presidential decree.

According to the information, the zone will occupy an area of 2,396 hectares in the Fergana region. A special regime for the facility will be introduced for 30 years with the possibility of extension. Tourism services will be organized and jobs will be created on the banks of the Central Fergana Reservoir in the Yazyavan district.

A complex based on the “Vodil” raspberry cultivation cluster will appear in the Fergana district. Shavkat Mirziyoyev gave instructions to create the necessary infrastructure for the guests, as well as to place lightweight service facilities in the territories of orchards and plantations.

In the territories of the “Sanoat” and “Hosilot” mahallas, it is planned to organize agro-tourist complexes using foreign experience. They will include raspberry plantations, refrigerated warehouses, and deep processing workshops.
