Kazakhstan sentenced a 39-year-old Uzbekistani who brutally murdered and dismembered a pensioner for refusing to give him water.

The incident occurred in the village of Jibek Joli in the Turkistan region. The man killed the pensioner, then cut the victim’s throat, cut off her limbs and genitals. According to the forensic medical examination, the cause of the man’s death was traumatic and hemorrhagic shock complicated by sliced and cut wounds in the trachea, esophagus, first cervical vertebra, spinal cord, and large vessels.

The court found the man guilty. Law enforcement officers determined that the defendant deliberately took the pensioner’s life. However, the psychiatric examination revealed that the offender suffered from a chronic mental illness — “paranoid schizophrenia”, and it was also revealed that the man had been registered for six years.

As a result, the Specialized Inter-District Criminal Court ruled to send the man for compulsory psychiatric treatment.

Earlier, it was reported that a daughter-in-law had stabbed her mother-in-law to death in Kashkadarya. The attacker personally contacted police and reported her actions.
