Traffic opened on Shota Rustaveli Street in Tashkent

Shota Rustaveli Street in Tashkent, closed for reconstruction for almost 4 months, has been reopened for traffic from Shahrisabz Street to Chupon Ota Street. Work continues from Chupon ota Street to Yangi Sergeli Street, according to the city administration’s press service.
The opening of vehicle traffic is technical, meaning it is accompanied by technical and technological (not construction) work. The exits and entrances from adjacent neighborhoods and mahallas, the laying of utility systems, and the isolation of bus stops have been completed.
Please note that this section has partially been illuminated, a temporary marking has been made, and work is underway to install bus stop complexes on the bus lane. Most of the modern road signs have already been installed, all traffic light complexes are connected and are operating normally, — the message says.
Work aimed at completing the processes will continue in coordination with the relevant services. This decision is part of the general plan for the phased launch and restoration of traffic, aimed at mitigating the transport situation in the capital.
