Uzbekistan will expand cooperation and partnership with the EU
The country's leader held a meeting with the European Commission.

Within the framework of Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s meeting with European Council President António Costa and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, an Enhanced Partnership Agreement was signed, the presidential press service reports.
According to the information, during the Uzbekistan-European summit, the parties signed an Agreement on Enhanced Partnership and Cooperation between Uzbekistan and the European Union. Also, during his visit to Brussels, the country’s leader held a round table with the heads of leading European companies and banks.
The President noted the achievements and outlined four key areas for further deepening cooperation, including the “green” economy and chemical industry, infrastructure and logistics development, the digital economy and information technologies, as well as the implementation of projects for the production of finished products with high added value.
