In December 2025, Uzbekistan dropped in the mobile and wired internet speed ranking, losing several positions at once, according to Speedtest Global Index data.
According to the information, in the mobile internet speed ranking, the country dropped five positions compared to November and took 76th place. The mobile internet speed is estimated at 51.47 Mbps.
The country also dropped six positions in the wired internet speed ranking. In December, Uzbekistan ranked 83rd: average speed — 90.94 Mbps. At the same time, the fastest mobile internet was found in the UAE — 691.76 Mbps. The best wired internet speed was recorded in Singapore — 410.06 Mbps.
Earlier, it was reported that Uzbekistan wants to connect to the underwater communication line via the Caspian Sea. The country can get an alternative internet traffic route.
