Uzbekistan appointed new ambassador to Monaco

The diplomatic mission will be headed by Nodir Ganiev, who also represents the country in Portugal.

Uzbekistan’s Ambassador Nodir Ganiev presented his credentials to Prince Albert II of Monaco, reports Dunyo.

During the event, the country’s leader praised the reforms being carried out in Uzbekistan under the leadership of Shavkat Mirziyoyev and expressed interest in the country’s green energy projects. Prince Albert II also noted Uzbekistan’s efforts to develop renewable energy sources and achieve the goal of generating 54% of electricity from them by 2030.

In addition, the monarch congratulated the country on holding the 43rd session of the UNESCO General Conference, which is scheduled to be held in Samarkand in the fall of 2025, and called this event a testament to the country’s openness to the world. The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to the Principality of Monaco, with residence in Paris, Nodir Ganiev, presented his credentials to the country’s leader. He also represents the country in Portugal.

Earlier, it was reported that the Foreign Minister received the new Ambassador of France to Uzbekistan. Bakhtiyor Saidov noted that Uzbek-French relations have reached a new level.
