Thousands of citizens in Kazakhstan have contracted Hong Kong flu
Most of the infected are children, and Kazakhstanis are already complaining about the shortage of medicines in pharmacies.
In Kazakhstan, the number of Hong Kong flu cases has risen sharply, citizens were urged to be more careful, the press service of the Ministry of Health of the country reports.
According to the department, 8,239 patients are in hospitals, of which 6,809 are children. Kazakhstanis also complain about the shortage of medicines in pharmacies, especially against seasonal viruses and influenza. The Prime Minister instructed the head of the Ministry of Health to ensure the quality treatment of patients.
If necessary, it was also instructed to increase the number of stationary beds and mobile teams. He demanded that special attention be paid to the availability of antiviral drugs in all pharmacies. Meanwhile, medical professionals advise:
- restrict visits to places of mass gathering of people;
- regularly ventilate the premises;
- use antiseptics or disinfecting wipes for hand treatment;
- If symptoms of ARVI and influenza appear, leave children at home and do not send them to schools and kindergartens.
Recall that Uzbekistanis were concerned about the introduction of mask-wearing in schools. The Ministry of Health stated that the issue is being misinterpreted by citizens.
