Serbia will become a strategic partner of Uzbekistan
Shavkat Mirziyoyev will visit Belgrade to sign agreements.

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev may visit Belgrade at the beginning of 2026, reports Dunyo.
The plans were shared by Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić during his visit to Tashkent. According to the head of Serbia, Uzbekistan has achieved incredible progress in all spheres of public life and impressive economic growth.
The most striking impression was made by Uzbekistan’s tremendous progress. Last year, the growth rate was 6.5%, and this year it will likely be even higher. In the first three quarters alone, it reached 7.6%. This is a country of young people, because 60 percent of the population is under 30 years old — Aleksandar Vučić.
The Serbian President also expects that the Uzbek leader’s visit to Belgrade will mark the beginning of a strategic partnership.
We will prepare the most important documents that will become the basis for strengthening cooperation. My visit to Uzbekistan is of great importance for Serbia, as we are talking about countries representing the future. We have opportunities and potential for cooperation in various fields, — Aleksandar Vučić.
